The last few weeks have been busy moving to the springs, starting the new job, heading into the mountains for a weekend and then flying back east for a week and a half... slow down? Me? I have three days off right now...I went skiing at Monarch one day and I took today off and didn't leave the couch for long!! Tomorrow's another day! May drive back into the mountains!
It was great seeing everyone on the east coast! I hit 4 states and saw about 50 people while I was there...no exaggeration there! Sorry if I missed you! I was a little busy!

I didn't realize how much I missed the water until I landed in Boston!!
I went to a great Irish concert with a college friend in Boston Sat night. Then she drove me to meet my parents in Sturbridge MA on Sunday for a traditional New England meal!!
They drove me back to CT where I stay at my parents house for the week and got to visit with my family and some friends a little more locally!

Dad was nice enough to let me borrow his jeep....Thanks Dad!!!....now what is he going to drive?
Then I took a few day trips...

Dad dropped me off at the Ferry in Bridgeport and I headed over to Long Island for St. Patrick's day.

The view from the ferry!

Yup, I missed the water!!

Sunset on the Northern state Parkway. View is a bit different than the last few months.

St. Patrick's Day in Oyster bay, LI with some friends from my hiking group

Visiting some friends in CT and their 2 yo thought he would hide when I walked in the door....where could he be?

So what do I do? I fly back to the east coast for some Country music!! Two of my favorite musicians were playing the same show!!! Ironically Kathy Mattea who is from WV is currently living in CO!!

Sue and I enjoyed the concert in Tarrytown, NY

Got to visit some friends in Westchester before the concert!!

The drive back from NY the next morning was a bit white.... still a different view than CO!!

Back to Boston for my aunts birthday and a family reunion. We all met at my cousins house and took the subway into Boston for dinner.

So how do you get 17 people into Boston?? MTA it is!!

Somehow we managed to separate into the adult table and the kids table...... somethings never change!!

Although the adults kept coming over to our side of the table!! :)

My mom and her three sisters in Boston for my Aunts Birthday! I don't know why I am the way I am!!!

I have learned not to ask in my family....this is why the kids wouldn't sit with the adults!! : )

Brothers...

Matt and Debb

Do you think we are related?

How do you get this many people into one picture??

My cousins....well some of them. Not everyone was able to come for the party.. Tom you were doing something in each picture...this was the best I could find!

Tom? How did Debb get that on her head???

Mom and her sisters...

The next morning my friends came to Boston from NH. It was a bit breezy walking along the Charles River near Harvard Square.

Boston is famous for "Make way for Ducklings" ....but Geese??

Some funky architecture at MIT.

Dinner at Fire and Ice in Harvard square...make your own meal they grill it for you!
