John Muir's Cathedral

Ok, the latest is Natures Cathedral! It can't be John Muir's anymore than it is mine! Oh wait. It's a National Park it is ours!! John Muir fought to have Yosemite preserved as a national park back in the late 1800's. He was the son of a minister and was a very spiritual person and felt that he was in Nature's Cathedral in Yosemite! Standing in the valley with the Granite walls rising up around you it sure does feel like a cathedral!

Also called the valley of light. My camera can't seem to gather the light correctly.

Half dome and north dome

The chapel in Yosemite Valley

Lots of views of Yosemite Falls!

And you thought the sun roof was just to let the sun in! So nice to be able to see above you while driving through the Valley!!

I didn't realize that there was a waterfall on the end of El Capitan!

I pulled off to take pictures and someone pointed out the coyote across the way.

It then walked across the road and stood by a car while a guy took stood there and took pictures 3 feet away!
