Drive to Santa Cruz

I discovered that David Wilcox was playing in Santa Cruz, CA only about 90 miles from me! So I decided to take a drive to the coast for the evening. Work has been slow the last few weeks so I left early and made it to Santa Cruz in time for dinner. Just missed sunset by about 15 mins. The sky was gorgeous but didn't make it to the beach in time for pictures.

David Wilcox was great live! He is an amazing Acoustic guitarist and songwriter! Loved the concert! Highly recommend him!

So I spent the night in town and had to swing by the beach on my way back to work. I took two half days! It was SOOO hard to drag myself off the coast and head back to Merced!

The drive was Gorgeous though!

Then the construction begins on Cliff drive.

Only in CA!!! This was 9AM he was getting out of the water!

Then I drove back through the Eucalyptus trees on the coast and hit the farmland and drove over Pacheco pass past the reservoir into the valley!







Ah... life in the Valley...at least 2 hours from Everything!! 2 hrs north to Sacramento and about 5 hrs south to LA!!
