Home sweet Home...for now.

Some of you have asked about where I am living. I live in Pittsburg and work in Antioch. Pittsburg has a cute main street downtown near the river that leads down to the Bay area. They have a custom car show every Thursday night and main street was packed with cars when I drove by last Thursday. I was still unpacking so I didn't stop by. I hope to check it out this week.

Apparently the area had a lot of coal mining in it starting back in the 1800s. There is a local park that currently preserves the land for recreational use.

My new apartment on the second floor. I like the balcony! Too bad that it is so hot out here I just stay in my AC in the apt!


Rented furniture in the living room. I expect to get a lot of use out of the wood burning fireplace in CA??



Now the three pools...that is another story! LOVE it! This one is heated... again? Why? It is big enough to swim laps in but who wants to swim in bath water! I have tried one of the others. Need to check out the last one.
