Sitting on the beach enjoying the mountains behind the sand dunes...oh wait those are rocks not sand dunes....a little petrified!!!
Start with an ancient beach rich with red iron sands.....
After time and pressure compress the beach to a wall of red sand stone!!
Add some fins!!
No, NOT shark fins...rock fins... fractures separate the rock into walls called fins.
Erosion is caused by many things the process begins....
Humans?? A cause of erosion?? NEVER!!! Wind, rain freezing and melting can cause erosion...not to mention ME!!!
Cheese?? Oh, its a rock not Swiss cheese!! : )
